God’s Purpose For You

God's Purpose for You

  • Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart” (Jeremiah 1:5).
  • Long before he laid down earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love.” (Ephesians 1:4 MSG)
  • You didn’t choose me. I chose you, and I appointed you, to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last.” (Ephesians 2:10)

At the heart of this purpose is God’s transformative love. He created you with the intention of making you whole and holy through His grace. This divine purpose encompasses both who you are becoming in Christ and the good works He has prepared for you to accomplish.

Your life has been deliberately ordained by the Creator of the universe. Each day was written in His book before you took your first breath. Yet this truth doesn’t diminish your role – you are called to actively participate in His plan by working out your salvation with reverence and holy fear.

God has equipped you with His Holy Spirit to guide and empower you in fulfilling this purpose. As you submit to His will and allow His Word to dwell in your heart, He works through you to accomplish His perfect plan. While we may make our own plans, it is His sovereign purpose that ultimately prevails.

Remember that you are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works that He prepared beforehand. By staying close to Him and being faithful in what He places before you, you participate in His eternal purpose of bringing glory to His name.

In summary, your journey is not random; it is a resolute expedition guided by God’s hands. He charted your course and given you the tools to fulfill your purpose. This isn’t about wandering—it’s about discovering the divine blueprint for your life and walking intentionally in it with confidence.

OK, so how do I discover my purpose. Glad you asked, we start with Jesus and the Greats.
